ランカ寺院での医療の研究をされ、パーリ語・サンスクリット語、英語、ドイツ語など語学に堪能な大変優秀なお坊様です。仏教を勉強したい方のお力になれれ
ばとおっしゃってくださっており、毎週土曜日に初めての方向けのパーリ語で読む経典の勉強会を開いていただくことになりました。ご希望があれば、日曜・平

Pāli sutta class
every Saturday until the end of Jun 2:00pm-4:00pm
Venerable Wetara Mahinda Thero, formerly lectured at University of
Peradeniya in Sri Lanka as a specialist in Archaeology, is staying in
Japan for 3 months. Venerable has studied medical and psychological
treatment of the ancient buddhist monastic tradition in Sri Lanka, and
is proficient in Pāli, Sanskrit, English, and German
language. He who is such a great teacher wishes to help us to learn
Buddhism during his stay in Japan.This Saturday class is for beginners
to read Pāli Sutras.
It is possible to have lesson at any other time.
