インド・サカ暦のウェーサーカ（５月）の満月の日、お釈迦様は誕生し、悟りをひらき、入滅されたと伝えられます。正山寺釈迦牟尼国際仏教センターでは、ウダラタ・アマラプラ派副管長ヤラガムエ・ダンミッサラ長老の指導の下、スリランカ・アマラプラ派管長ダウルデナ・ニャーニッサラ大長老とラーマンニャ派管長ナーパーネ・デーマシリ大長老をお招きし、在日本スリランカ大使ワサンタ・カランナゴタ閣下を貴賓として、仏道実践会とウェーサーカ大法要を行ないます。ウェーサーカにスリランカで多くの方が行なうダンサラ（道行く人に食事や飲み物をふるまう「給食所」）も設け、朝食と昼食をご用意いたします。スリランカの皆様ばかりでなく、日本の皆様も是非ご参加ください。なお、八斎戒の実践に参加される方は朝６時までにお集り下さい。

will visit Japan for the Cerebration of Vesak this year.
6:00a.m.~ the observation of the Eight Precepts (Atthanga Sila)
10:00~ Buddha Pooja and the offering to Maha Sangha
Meditation and preaching of Dhamma will be conducted by most venerable theras.
(The scheduled finish time is 6:00p.m.)
